Sunrise From My Sister's Balcony

I was heading off for work, and this view took my breath away.

'Happy To You!'

No, the above title isn't a typo. It's what my niece Anum likes to say whenever we mention birthdays.

Recently, she's graduated to saying 'Happy Birthday To You, [your name here]'. But I just don't find that as endearing as 'Happy To You!'.

Now, to get to the point of this post, I think 'Happy To You' can be used for more than just birthdays. For example, the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend is coming up and I'd just like to say Happy To You in celebration! See?

Hehe, now you try it and see how much pleasure can be taken from these three little words ;D

Slow Month (At Least Online ;)

Ok, so I haven't really been doing any new posts for the past month ... So sue me :P

First, I went to a wedding in Ottawa for my good friend Mohsin and his blushing bride Nida. I've got plenty of pictures of that event here. Hehe, I'm probably not going to see Mohsin again for a year ... now that he's got that whole wedded bliss thing happening.

Pipe Brule

Muuhahahaha, call me Ishmael Mario; King of newbie plumbers! Hehehehe, I used a blowtorch yesterday :D

Yes, you read right ... I, [my full name here], got to play with use FIRE!! Muuhahahahahaha!!!!

Ok, so here's the backstory:

"The DaVinci" Vidi Vici "Code"

Ok, I also watched 'The Davinci Code' over the long weekend (my mom made me watch it with her). Actually, it was a pretty good movie. It was an action thriller with a plot.

I don't really care what the movie said about Catholisizm, that was just a springboard to make the plot interesting. Honestly, if all the religious yahoos out there hadn't made such a big fuss about it, I doubt anyone would care.

Ode to Zeba Hussain

This just came to me ... hope you like it.

Zeba Hussain; the nicest person you could meet.
What she did with hair was quite a feat.
She chatted and cut then colored and curled.
And through it all she took care of her three girls.

A finer set of daughters you'll never see.
Even if you traveled from sea to sea.

Together they all shared laughter and tears.
For many, long, beautiful years.

Though fate forced her to leave us too soon,
we will always count knowing her a boon.

Though fate forced her to be gone,
her soul remains in those who live on.

"Mamooooooo!!!!!!!" - Anum

Ok, the funniest thing happened yesterday.

Anum (my 18 month old niece) was over, and she was trying to get into one of the kitchen cabinets. I, on the other hand, was stopping her from opening the aforementioned cabinet by placing a hand over the two doors.

Upon seeing this, Anum would promptly push my hand away and say 'No'. And then I would just switch to using my other hand to block the cabinet. So she and I went back and forth like this a good 5 or 6 times.

FINALLY, Anum became soooo frustrated with my shenanigans that she screamed 'MAMOOOOO!!!!!' to get me to stop.

Someone Else's Perspective

Ok, I did another search on Google, and I found this (it's cached on Google here). It is someone else's take on the crash.

I've copied the relevant part of the post here.

Conglomeration

I was asked to put all (most) of my data together into one downloadable file.

Even More Info

I just did a Google search of 'Zeba Hussain' and this was the first link I found CNW Group. It leads to a Peel Region Police "Attention News Editors" bulletin. I've pasted it below.
